Hoshinoya Tokyo
HOSHINOYA Tokyo is a unique “tower ryokan” in the heart of Otemachi, blending traditional Japanese inn style with modern high-rise architecture. Every floor has just six tatami-floored guest rooms and its own intimate lounge (“Ochanoma”), giving the feel of a private ryokan on each level. Guests are greeted by quiet elegance—wood, shoji screens, and soft lighting—and are invited to remove their shoes and relax barefoot. On the 17th floor, there’s a rooftop hot-spring bath fed by natural spring water deep below the city, offering a serene escape above Tokyo’s skyline. The in-house restaurant serves refined “Nippon Cuisine,” combining seasonal Japanese ingredients with French techniques, all in a tranquil, understated setting.
