One niseko resort Towers
The Ainu are an indigenous people of Niseko. For them, nature is an object of worship, and they believe that even a single tree is home to a god.
Perhaps as a reflection of their awareness of cherishing the blessings of nature, traditional Ainu homes use wood not only for its structure,
but also for its bark as roofing material, without leaving anything behind.
One Niseko follows this way of thinking, incorporating living nature into its architecture.
The eaves on the front of the building are covered with trees with the bark still attached, welcoming people in while resonating with the surrounding nature.
